Thomas J. Slater is professor emeritus of English at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is the author of Milos Forman: A Bio-Bibliography, editor of the Handbook of Soviet and East European Films and Filmmakers, and coeditor of American Silent Film: Discovering Marginalized Voices. His work has been published in the Journal of Film and Video, Cinema Journal, Women’s Studies, and Post Script.
